Law Firm Siwoo (hereinafter "Siwoo") establishes and publishes this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information and rights of data subjects in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and to efficiently address privacy concerns and complaints related to personal information from data subjects.

Article 1 [Items, Purpose, and Period of Processing Personal Information]
① The items, purpose, and period for which Siwoo processes personal information are as follows:

1. Client Personal Information
• Scope of Personal Information Collected
o Name, contact information (address, phone number, email, etc.), workplace information (company name, title, position, etc.)
o Information generated or received during the establishment, maintenance, performance, and management of services and transactional relationships performed by Siwoo for or in connection with the client.

• Purpose of Processing Personal Information
o Provision of services for clients, establishment, maintenance, performance, and management of transactional relationships, accident investigation, dispute resolution, handling of complaints, and fulfillment of other legal obligations.
o Sending seminar invitations and newsletters, and providing other information.

• Retention Period
o Upon achieving the above purpose or withdrawal of consent by the data subject.

2. Personal Information of Professional and General Staff Applicants, Judicial Apprentices, and Intern Applicants
• Scope of Personal Information Collected
o Job Applicants [Required]: Name, date of birth, contact information (address, phone number, email, etc.), photo, gender, academic background, military service and veterans affairs information, career history, motivation for application and self-introduction content.
o [Optional]: Family matters, awards, foreign language skills and qualifications/licenses, and other information and references stated in submitted documents.
o Judicial Apprentices and Intern Applicants [Required]: Name, date of birth, contact information (address, phone number, email, etc.), photo, gender, academic background, military service and veterans affairs information, career history, motivation for application and self-introduction content.
o [Optional]: Family matters, awards, foreign language skills and qualifications/licenses, and other information and references stated in submitted documents, practical training.

• Purpose of Processing Personal Information
o Job Applicants: Identity verification, verification of academic background and career, review/decision and notification of hiring status, confirmation of intent to apply for future recruitment.
o Judicial Apprentices and Intern Applicants: Identity verification, verification of academic background and career, review/decision and notification of hiring status for practical training and internships, establishment, maintenance, performance, and management of practical training and internship relationships, decision on formal employment.

• Period of Processing and Retention
o Upon achieving the above purpose or withdrawal of consent by the data subject (However, after achieving the purpose, retention is only for dispute resolution, handling of complaints, and fulfillment of other legal obligations).

3. Personal Information of Executives and Employees (Professional Staff, General Staff, etc.)
• Scope of Personal Information Collected
o [Required]: Name, unique identification numbers such as resident registration number, nationality, contact information (address, phone number, email, etc.), photo, personnel management information for the purpose of maintaining employment relationship (personnel record card, information recorded in submitted documents such as resident registration abstract at the time of entry, employee number, affiliation, job, attendance and evaluation information, disciplinary information, retirement information, and other personnel management information generated or created in accordance with the employment relationship).
o [Optional]: Family matters.

• Purpose of Processing Personal Information
o Conclusion (hiring) and maintenance of the employment contract.
o Handling of necessary tasks for personnel management purposes such as personnel appointments, evaluations, salary payments, welfare benefits, and education and training.
o Creation of employee directories, posting on group messenger (affiliation, position, name, email address, phone number).

• Period of Processing and Retention
o Upon achieving the above purpose or withdrawal of consent by the data subject (However, after achieving the above purpose, retention is only for dispute resolution, handling of complaints, and fulfillment of other legal obligations).

② Siwoo generally does not collect sensitive information that may infringe upon the privacy of the data subject. If necessary, such information is collected with separate consent from the data subject and used restrictively only for the purpose of consent. However, the accuracy and timeliness of sensitive information are periodically checked.

Article 2 [Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties]
① Siwoo generally processes the personal information of the data subject within the scope of the purpose specified in Article 1 and does not process it beyond the original scope or provide it to a third party without the data subject's prior consent. However, in the following cases, personal information may be used for purposes other than the original purpose or provided to a third party, except when there is a risk of unfairly infringing upon the interests of the data subject or a third party:
1. Where the data subject has consented to the provision to a third party in advance.
2. Where there are special provisions in other laws.
3. Where the data subject or their legal representative is unable to express their intention or cannot obtain prior consent due to unknown address, etc., and it is clearly deemed necessary for the urgent benefit of the life, body, or property of the client or a third party.
4. Where personal information is provided in a form that cannot identify a specific individual for purposes such as statistical preparation and academic research.

② When obtaining consent pursuant to paragraph ① subparagraph 1, Siwoo shall inform the data subject of the following matters. If any of the following matters are changed, Siwoo shall inform the data subject and obtain consent.
1. The recipient of the personal information.
2. The purpose of use of the personal information (when provided, this refers to the recipient's purpose of use).
3. The items of personal information used or provided.
4. The period of retention and use of personal information (when provided, this refers to the recipient's period of retention and use).
5. The fact that the data subject has the right to refuse consent, and the details of any disadvantages resulting from such refusal.

Article 3 [Entrustment of Personal Information Processing]
① Siwoo may entrust the processing of a data subject's personal information if necessary. If the entrusted company and the content of the entrusted task change in the future, we will promptly notify this through this policy.
② When concluding a consignment contract with the entrusted company, Siwoo stipulates matters concerning the prohibition of processing personal information beyond the purpose of the entrusted task, technical and managerial protection measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of the consignee, and liability for damages in documents such as contracts, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and supervises whether the consignee handles personal information safely.

Article 4 [Rights and Obligations of the Data Subject and Methods of Exercise]
① The data subject may exercise rights related to personal information protection against Siwoo, such as demanding access, correction and deletion, and suspension of processing of personal information, as prescribed by the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations.
② The exercise of rights pursuant to paragraph ① may also be done through the data subject's legal representative or an authorized agent. However, in this case, a power of attorney according to the Enforcement Rule of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted to Siwoo.
③ Siwoo will take action without delay regarding the exercise of rights by the data subject, as prescribed by the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations.

Article 5 [Disposal of Personal Information]
① Siwoo, in principle, disposes of personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as when the purpose of processing the personal information has been achieved.
② If Siwoo must continuously retain personal information without destroying it according to the provisions of relevant laws, the personal information is separated from other personal information and stored and managed.
③ Siwoo selects the personal information to be disposed of, obtains approval from the Chief Privacy Officer (CPO/CISO), and disposes of the relevant personal information.
④ If the personal information to be disposed of is in the form of an electronic file, Siwoo permanently deletes it using a method that prevents recovery. For other records, printed matter, documents, or other recording media, it is shredded or incinerated.

Article 6 [Measures to Ensure the Safety of Personal Information]
Siwoo takes the following measures necessary to ensure safety:
1. Administrative Measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular personal information protection training for members, etc.
2. Technical Measures: Management of access rights to the personal information processing system, installation of access control systems, encryption, and installation of security programs, etc.
3. Physical Measures: Access control to personal information storage locations such as the computer room.

Article 7 [Changes to the Privacy Policy]
This policy may be changed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, guidelines, Siwoo's internal regulations, etc. When Siwoo changes this policy, the date of change and enforcement, and the modified content will be continuously disclosed through the website (www.siwoo-law.com), and the changes will be published by comparing the previous and current versions so that data subjects can easily check them.

Article 8 [Remedies for Infringement of Rights]
Data subjects who need to report or consult regarding personal information infringement should contact the following organizations:
